Hi, my name is Nic Shaw.
I decided to train to become a Personal Trainer, when 8 years ago, as a Primary School teacher, I had chronic pain in my back, neck and shoulders, which caused me to have 3 months off work. Through a sport therapist, that I was seeing to help control the pain, he told me that he was also a Personal Trainer. I asked him to help rehabilitate me back to fitness through weekly personal training. I was hooked. I was able to control the pain I was experiencing on a daily basis through exercise and I found that I loved the feeling and confidence exercise gave me. I knew then that I needed to spread this love for exercise with others, so I trained to become a Personal Trainer myself.
I love it! I have no regrets!
